Oct 17 Stone Age Yank'nYard Bouldering Comp

Timy Fairfield will be a guest route setter/forerunner collaborating with head route setter, Lance Hadfield, in creation of the 13th annual ‘Yank’nYard’ Bouldering Competition which will kick off the 2009 Stone Age Prime-8 Festival in Albuquerque, NM.

We are proud to announce our 2009 13th Annual Yank & Yard competition! This year we are going even bigger than ever before and including a $3000 cash purse for the top men and women competitors. The event will be held Oct. 17th and will kick off our second annual Prime8 event. Everything you loved about our competition before will be back including an AWESOME t-shirt designed by our very own Aaron Stromberg. We are proud to offer a huge prize raffle this year totaling over $6000 in value. We will have a live DJ and as always an after competition party/awards ceremony complete with food, drink, and much merry making. The event schedule is new for 2009 with both a citizens category which will be entered in the prize raffle and an open category which will compete for the cash prize.

Bringin’ It Home – This event will offer TF the opportunity to showcase in his hometown what he has learned from the experiences amassed during his World Cup Bouldering Competition career in Europe as well as his professional route setting exploits over the past decade in which he has contributed to producing televised International Invitational events and Foreign National Championship events. Get Ready To Rumble 505 Style!
