Friday 3/5 - The Disciples of Gill

Join us for a special presentation of The Disciples of Gill with an introduction and book signing by the film maker Pat Ament. The show will be at the Centennial Engineering Center on the UNM Campus and is hosted by the UNM Mountaineering Club. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $6 for UNM Mountaineering Club or Lobo Climbing Team Members.

Climbing Magazine editor Matt Samet says about The Disciples of Gill, “The film is splendid, one of the most thoughtful and thought-provoking meditations on the sport I’ve ever seen. Going back to when I first laid hands on a copy of Pat’s biography of John Gill, Master of Rock, and on up through Pat’s Wizards of Rock and all his books and films, I’ve long been a follower and utmost admirer of his work.
